Vinod is a corporate management professional with more than 35 years of experience. In his consulting practice, he specializes in coaching people for performance enhancement and competency development, in competency assessment and in designing & conducting training workshops.
Vinod is from the class of 1978 Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, and holds a master’s degree in HR. His first five years of direct work experience was in the factory HR function at Hindustan Lever (now HUL) before he moved to the pharmaceutical industry in corporate HR functions. In 1984 he took over as head of HR of Merck Sharpe & Dohme of India, later renamed Merind, and was a member of the executive committee of the Company. He started management consulting in 1990.
